Is it possible to get eyelash extensions refill at ohmylashandbrow even if it's my first time?
No, we don't offer refills for work done by other technicians. This is because the thickness, color, texture, and material used to fill your existing lashes may not perfectly match what you currently have. There's a chance that this could result in an imperfect blend with your existing lashes. Remember, with any full set, the removal is complimentary!
How long will it take to apply eyelash extensions? Lashes are applied while you are lying down with your eyes closed in a cozy, warm spa bed. This beauty rest can take about 1.5 to 2 hours for a classic full set and Russian volumes. After cleaning and priming your lashes, your bottom lashes are protected with an anti-aging eye pad or medical tape, and then lash extensions are applied. It is a very relaxing, non-invasive procedure, and most clients fall asleep!
How long do eyelash extensions last? Eyelash extensions can last up to 6 weeks. However, they are no longer full after 6 weeks. Therefore, a refill is recommended to keep your lashes full every 2-3 weeks. No matter what lash extensions you get and how strong glue we use, the extensions will shed with the natural growth cycle of your own lashes.
How often should I get touch-ups? We recommend getting a touch-up every 2-3 weeks. If you wait too long, your eyelash extensions will mostly fall out, and you will be required to have a full set. Other factors such as exposure to steam, humidity, or touching your eyes a lot may cause the extensions to fall off sooner.
Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions? Yes. The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise, etc. But the more you do those things, the less lashes last.
Why don't my lashes last long? They mostly fall off in 3 days!
If you are experiencing lash fallout within just a few days, it could be due to a number of factors. Firstly, lash extensions should be refilled every 2-3 weeks, which means that at the 2-3 week mark, you may only have around 30% of the lashes remaining. The glue used for lash extensions is also sensitive to humidity and high temperatures, which can cause retention issues. People with oily skin, who produce more sebum and water than normal, may also have difficulty with lash retention. Sweating or hot and humid weather can also cause lashes to fall out more easily. Additionally, if you sleep on your side, your lashes may rub against your pillow, and if you wear contact lenses, you may be more likely to touch your eye area. If you live or travel to a city with a hot and humid climate, the glue may not last as long. Moisture from activities such as facial treatments with steamers or working out can also weaken the glue, as can applying lotion or eye cream around your eyes. There are many potential reasons for lash fallout, but if you experience more than 50% fallout within 3 days, you can contact ohmylashandbrow@gmail.com with clear photos of your eyes to receive a free new full set.
My lash line feels tight and stiff after lash extensions, Why?
While glue should not be applied directly to your skin during lash extensions, the more lashes you have, the tighter and stiffer you may feel due to the amount of glue used. If the glue is too dry, too wet, too cold, or too hot, it may also harden and cause discomfort. However, this does not affect the health of your eyelashes, and discomfort should subside as you get used to the feeling. If you experience pain, you should contact your lash technician.
Who should NOT wear eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions may not be suitable for people who
Do I need to wash and comb my eyelashes every day?
Yes, you should. The mucous membranes where eyelashes grow produce moisture daily, and dust and other particles can adhere to them. If you don't cleanse your lashes regularly, these substances can accumulate, potentially causing issues and even affecting the health of your lashes. While it's advisable to avoid makeup like eyeshadow that's difficult to remove, you should perform a gentle water-based cleansing routine and comb your eyelashes after cleansing. However, rather than combing too vigorously, it's important to lightly brush through your lashes to untangle them and keep them neat.
I wear glasses, so will eyelash extensions touch my glasses?
No, we have various curl options, and if you wear glasses close to your eyes, we can use a curl that points upward, so it won't touch your glasses. In fact, unless you want a very long length, your eyelash extensions should generally not touch your glasses, regardless of the curl you choose.
Why is the direction of eyelashes uneven and sometimes separated, creating gaps after eyelash extensions?
The direction of human eyelashes is naturally not consistent and quite complex. During the procedure, we try to attach the eyelash extensions evenly to create a uniform look. However, as your natural eyelashes continue to grow, the extended lashes also follow the direction in which your real lashes grow. Therefore, over time, the direction of your lashes may appear inconsistent and twisted. This is why it's important to receive a refill every 2-3 weeks.

BEFORE SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUPALL SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETIC PROCEDURES CAN BE SINGLE OR MULTI-SESSION PROCESSES. After the initial procedure, we provide a retouch service, and there is no additional charge for the follow-up appointment after your initial application as long as it is performed within two months of the initial application. This retouch is not mandatory, and if there is no need to be fixed or modified, clients DO NOT have to come back. We always strive to give a perfect result to our valued clients.WHILE YOUR SKIN HEALS, BE PREPARED FOR THE COLOR INTENSITY OF YOUR PROCEDURE TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER, SHARPER, BRIGHTER, OR DARKER than what is expected for the final outcome. This is a normal and expected result of the application and healing process. The healing process will take a number of days to complete, depending on how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place. Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may swell slightly or redden, some clients feel it's best not to make social plans for a day or two following any procedure. Please bring your lip products or brow pencils with you on the day of the procedure if possible for better consultation.
Pre-Procedure Instructions
Eyebrows: Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, and coloring and tinting your brows at least a week prior to the procedure if possible.
Eyeliner: DO NOT WEAR CONTACT LENSES DURING OR IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pretreated condition. Also, DO NOT WEAR ANY EYE MAKEUP or EYELASH EXTENSIONS before you visit. Do not use growth stimulants for at least one week before and one week after your eyeliner procedure.
Lips: Lip wax or bleaching treatments, lip fillers, or laser hair removal for the lip area should not be undertaken at least one week prior to your lip tattoo procedure. Please apply any lip balms or Vaseline to make the lips smooth and not dry for the best result.
Hairline: We recommend that you avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 7-10 days before your procedure to eliminate the risk of burnt skin. No sunburn for 30 days prior to an appointment. Please wash your hair before you visit. Do not use irritating products. For example, products with strong scrub products or strong menthol are not recommended.
AFTER SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP (All areas):
The following activities must be avoided during the first 14 days post-permanent makeup procedure:
(Only eyebrows) After the procedure, make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with a cotton swab or a clean finger from the first day. This can be done once at night time for at least 3 days. When the post-care ointment runs out, apply vaseline for hydration of your skin for at least 7 days more.
Please wash your face carefully around the area without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the showerhead.
Only clean water can contact the area. DO NOT use cleansing foam or oil or soap or facial mask pack or any cosmetics and sunscreen directly on to the area.
If you experience any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact us immediately to discuss further instructions.
Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop, such as fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/yellow discharge that is foul in odor.
Lips tattoo:
After the procedure, make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment (A&D ointment or vaseline) as often as possible. DO NOT allow the lips to become dry.
If you develop cold sores, fever blisters, or herpes simplex after the procedure, you should contact your physician to obtain and take the proper prescription medication to treat such outbreaks. Many physicians prescribe Valtrex or antivirals. Follow your physician’s instructions.
Do not touch your lips with fingers or food. Please use a fork or chopstick for food and a straw for any beverages.
Eyeliner tattoo:
The next day, the eyelids may be more swollen, which is normal. Please cool the area with an ice pack at least 2 times a day. When using the ice pack, wrap it in plastic wrap to prevent the eyes from getting wet. Do not apply pressure to your eyes.
Do not apply any antibiotic creams as they do not help with healing. Our eyeliner tattoo is dry healing, so do not apply anything to it.
Scalp Hairline tattoo:
Avoid shampooing for at least 3 days immediately after the procedure.
Avoid using shampoo with a strong stimulating scent for at least two weeks or shampoo with a scrub function.
Please do not wear tight hats or hairbands for at least 2 weeks.
RETUCH POLICY
After completing the initial procedure, we offer a retouch service free of charge for the follow-up appointment within two months of the initial application. The retouch is not mandatory, and clients are not required to return if there is no need for fixing or modification. Our goal is to always provide our valued clients with a perfect result.
What is Semi-Permanent Makeup?
Semi-Permanent Makeup is a non-surgical treatment that replicates flawlessly applied 'conventional' cosmetics by infusing colored, pharmaceutical-grade pigments into the skin. Results are immediate and long-lasting, bringing balance and definition to facial features.
Who is Semi-Permanent Makeup suitable for?
Semi-Permanent Makeup is suitable for every woman who wants to feel good about herself and is confident that her makeup application is faultless, with an endurance way beyond anything conventional cosmetics can offer. We also offer life-changing benefits to alopecia sufferers or those who are suffering or will suffer hair loss following chemotherapy.
Is Semi-Permanent Makeup safe?
Absolutely! We follow a strict code of conduct that ensures the safety of our clients. Meticulous standards of hygiene are followed with the use of disposable cartridges, gloves, etc. We are trained and qualified technicians and only use state-of-the-art equipment and hypoallergenic pigments.
Does it hurt?
Client comfort is an important aspect of all semi-permanent procedures. It does hurt a little but is rather more uncomfortable than unbearable. Be assured, we use the best topical numbing agents, both before and throughout the procedure, ensuring your maximum comfort.
How long do the results last?
Semi-Permanent Makeups can last for many years. The actual length of time is variable and depends on factors such as UV/sun exposure, skin type, beauty regimen, the density of color implanted into the skin (softer enhancements do not last as long as strong, bold enhancements). All enhancements will require a color boost or top-up every few years to maintain their crispness and color.
Here is the average lasting period:
EYEBROWS: 1-3 years. (The more saturated and darker the color, the longer it will last on the skin.)
EYELINERS: 5 to 10 years.
LIPS and SCALP HAIRLINES MICROBLADING: up to 5 years (The more saturated and darker the color, the longer it will last on the skin.)
How quickly will my procedure heal?
Everyone is different, and healing times vary according to your health. Generally speaking, the skin will heal within 2 weeks for eyebrows and scalp hairlines, and within a week for lips and eyeliners.
How will I look immediately afterward?
Microblading is the most natural brows right after the procedure. Ombre and Combination brows procedures are slightly noticeable and slightly darker. Eyes may swell a little, but this generally only lasts for a day. Lips will swell and may remain swollen and chapped in appearance for several days.
Can I wear makeup afterward on the area I got the procedure?
We advise not to wear any cosmetics until the skin has healed as this may cause infection. You need to keep the area hygienically clean and lightly moisturized to promote efficient healing. Once healed, you can wear as much makeup as you wish, although you probably will not need to!
How long does the procedure take?
Most procedures take between 2 – 3.5 hours from start to finish. We always allow more than enough time so that you and our technicians can be relaxed and not rushed to finish.
What if I am on medication – will it affect the procedure?
Some medications are contraindicated. It is vitally important that you discuss the medications you are taking with us at your consultation.
What if I am not satisfied with the results of my procedure?
If you are not satisfied with the results of your semi-permanent makeup procedure, we offer a free touch-up to make any necessary adjustments. However, if you want to change the color or shape due to a simple change of mind, there may be an additional cost. We always obtain consent from clients for the shape, color, and other aspects of the procedure before beginning, so any changes must be discussed with your technician.
I have a history of cold sores. Will this affect my lip tattoo procedure?
If you have a history of cold sores, it is recommended that you see a doctor before or after your lip tattoo procedure to obtain antiviral medication to prevent or treat a cold sore outbreak. If your condition is currently under control, it should not affect the procedure.
What if I have poorly tattooed eyebrows?
We specialize in correcting and fixing poorly shaped or unnatural-colored eyebrows using our signature techniques. In most cases, we can correct them without the need for laser tattoo removal, which can be a more complex and costly procedure.

What is an emergency removal?
If you've recently gotten an eyebrow tattoo and are unhappy with it, consider an emergency removal within 48 hours. After 48 hours, removing the pigment becomes significantly more challenging. Emergency removal using a saline solution won't damage the skin; it specifically targets the pigment, extracting it from beneath the skin without causing harm.
Does one session of emergency removal completely remove all the pigment?
No, unfortunately. Removal effectiveness can vary, ranging from as little as 10% to as much as 100% in one session. This depends on factors such as the type of pigment, its depth, and the techniques used by the previous practitioner. After an emergency removal, additional pigment removal can be achieved through subsequent sessions of laser tattoo removal and saline removal.
Can emergency removal procedure leave scars on the skin?
No, this procedure, unlike eyebrow tattoo techniques such as microblading, doesn't involve creating wounds on the skin. It's a process where a liquid, specifically reacting with the pigment, is introduced into the scars previously created by the initial practitioner. Therefore, any scarring post-treatment is attributed to the impact of the previous practitioner's technique.
If my tattooed eyebrows has been more than 48 hours since client got the eyebrow tattoo, is emergency removal still possible?
No. It has been more than 48 hours since you received the eyebrow procedure, we do not recommend emergency removal. The skin may have already formed scabs, trapping the pigment within. In such cases, it is advised to wait an additional two months and then consider laser tattoo removal for optimal results.
Laser tattoo removal can completely remove all pigment?
Laser tattoo removal is the most ideal method for pigments that have been present for over two months. It may require anywhere from one to ten sessions, depending on the depth, composition, and color of the pigment. The number of sessions can vary. Consequently, complete removal is not guaranteed. Pigments like fluorescent yellow or white that no longer respond to laser treatment may achieve better results when combined with saline solution.
Between saline solution and a laser tattoo machine, which one is better?
If it has been within 48 hours since getting the tattoo, we recommend Saline Solution; if it has been more than 48 hours, we recommend Laser tattoo machine removal. Both methods target only the pigment, causing no damage to the skin. With a recovery period of over two months after each session, the skin has ample time to recover before the next procedure.
